There is basically no separate character for N and M in Japanese.
Therefore, my name is a homonym of the Japanese word for toilet.
As you can imagine, it’s not the most convenient situation, but it’s a pretty good way to start a conversation. So yeah, hello there. I’m Bemjo, I’m nineteen, and I’m looking for a job (hire me, please?). I just graduated from the University of the Philippines Visayas with a degree in Communication and Media Studies. The majority of the hours in my day are spent lazing around or teaching English to Japanese online.
